Pike's Playground Challenge

Here is a card I made for the Clear it Out Challenge blog and Pike's Playground Challenge.

Originally 'Dudley' (image by Dustin Pike) was cut with a nestie, but it just over took the card. So I cut him out and added a little butterfly I had on my desk. The butterfly was destine for a mobile, however it's been 3 months so I've decided to 'Clear it Out' instead :)

The rub on 'sweet' is from making memories. I was trying to pick a funny sentiment and the kids thought this was hilarious. When I asked my oldest why it was so funny he said "cause he's running away from his mom who wants him to do his chores, and she didn't notice he left yet"  Ya, I gotta work on that kids sense of humour!!

Speaking of which, here's a little funny for you:

My daughter was sitting on my lap as I uploaded my card. I put on youtube and played a song from Alvin and the Chipmunks. My son (7) looks over and says "Mom, why are you listening to Justin Bieber"  lol. I honestly don't even think he knows who Bieber is (and no, it wasn't one of his songs the rodents were singing)

One week let to join the challenge, hope to see you there!

  2. Very cute card - great background paper and colors.

Love the comment about Beiber - when my daughter first started listening I truly thought she was listening to a girl!

  3. Great card, I just seen this paper at the stamp store the other day and thought it was neat but I couldn't picture how to use it and now to see it on your card I wish I would have bought some!!! You've inspired me!!!
